What you use it for

The lightest cutlery that is still cutlery. If you eat from a pouch, the spoon end is long enough to reach the bottom without dirtying your fingers; the fork is for pasta and anything you need to spear. There is no knife — for cheese or sausage you have your pocket knife anyway.

Use and care

Turn it round while you eat rather than swapping utensils: that is the whole idea. Titanium is hard but thin, so do not lever with it in a frozen pot — it will not bend, it will snap. Rinse it straight after anything sweet or acidic; not because titanium suffers, but because scrubbing dried sugar off is needless work.
